Placed on the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan boasts its beauty with natural beauty and rich wildlife that is spread across various parts of the country. Bhutan is also recognized as the first carbon-free country in the world as more than 60% of its land is covered in forest.

Apart from rich greenery and natural beauty, Bhutan is also known for its pleasant climatic conditions which vary based on its altitude. With an elevation range from 200 m all the way to 7,000m, the country offers a diverse climate. While the southern part of Bhutan offers a subtropical climate with warm weather, the northern part offers tundra climatic zones with cool summers and freezing winters.
